All type of designers fall into this deadly sin, one have the responsability to research if there is any doubt on any word or phrase implemented on any design.
Don't get me wrong,
On the other hand if the design is way too complicated it make the user feel saturated and bounce rate is faster.
This is easy to spot.
Colors have rules and psicological techniques.
You have to think like users do, use your own browsing experience. Nothing pisses me off like a layout shift, where you end up clicking something unexpected at the last moment. Yep
Just be logical and consistent.
I fall into this one, yes for many will sound great but believe me, it ain't fun, this is the main reason why my slogan was: "The simple of the complex & the complex of the simple" (Long story).
Users don't want to feel confused, they preffer a simple design, straight to the point, like eating a banana, peel, start chewing, swallow, toss. Simple, period.
Speedy lifestyle requires lighter files.
Never ever underestimate your work value, but be fair.
Some if not most may find logic and intelligence a useful skill set and yes they are, up to a point but...
When it is used in all fields is a nightmare. A "Never ending task" with age and experience one finds the balance and try to keep it simple, but the technology race demans you to sharpen every single day.
